Waterfall Keepers Out and About!

In mid-July our friends at Carolina Mountain Club celebrated 100 years of hiking, saving trails, and serving the outdoor community. What a milestone! Waterfall Keepers was honored to be invited to the party at the NC Arboretum, along with 20+ other local non-profit partners, and what a party it was.

Our team of six worked hard all day setting up and taking down our booth, meeting and greeting, passing out booklets, signing up new members, answering questions, and selling some of our merch. It was a blast!

Thank you to Lorna Ravinski, Rich Stevenson, Steve Matadobra, Tom Kopp, Diane Rivers, Allison Rivers (behind the camera), and Saffie the Dog for your enthusiasm and professionalism. You made our booth sparkle! Thanks also to our board member, Lynda Doucette, who came by to lend a hand multiple times throughout the afternoon. It was great to see you, Lynda!

And thank you to the many waterfall lovers who stopped by to learn about and show your support for our cause! We hope to do more of these community events in the future so stay tuned!
