Waterfall Keepers of North Carolina is proud to maintain a section of North Carolina’s Forest Heritage Scenic Byway under the Department of Transportation’s Adopt-A-Highway program. Our section of roadway is a delightful walk for waterfaller lovers, with a waterfall at each end and trailheads for several others in between.

We pick up trash along the roadway four times a year, typically in February, May, August, and November. Want to help? We sure could use it. If you want to join our wonderful cleanup crew, contact us and we’ll add you to the team and send all the info you need. Thanks so much!

Our next cleanup day is February 20, 2021.

We’ve adopted a 2.3-mile section of NC 215 that begins at Sunburst Falls (pictured in the banner image) and ends at Bubbling Spring Branch Cascades. Along the way, the highway crosses West Fork Pigeon River on Triple Arch Bridge (pictured here). Several other waterfalls are accessed along this section.
